Category Archives: clubbing in Tokyo
Today we went to a manmade island called Odaiba that is just on the coast from Tokyo.
To get there, and yes you should, from Shibuya (Yamanote Line) you go to Shimbashi. Takes 20min!
Then you change to Yurikamome Line and you get to Odaiba island 🙂
A good “get off place” in Odaiba is Daiba.
Get out here and You get to Joypolis which is an amusementpark indoors!!
Cost ¥3.900 (about 250 SEK) for admission and pass for all the rides and YES you will earn that money back in rides;)
So, sleep now!!
Oyasumi-Nasai (Good night)
So, its Saturday in Tokyo and we woke up at 14.00!
But its ok, because we got “home” to the hotel around 7pm this morning!
I will just tell you this!
Get yourself Japanese friends if you come here bcos you will find the best places ever that way!
Yesterday were Johan played as a guest DJ (together with 15 others) in Ikejiri-Ohashi (one stop from Shibuya on Den-en-toshi line) was the coolest place ever!*\(^o^)/*
A tiny door in the Wall, a steep stairway and in to a tiny room where no shoes were aloud!! And that place was packed with Japanese cool people!
AND Hatsune Miku were DJ’ing I kid you not!!;)
An amazing place you would have never found without contacts but the best place to party until 5pm!!
This day it was all about the SHOES!!
In Harajuku, you must go to that store!
I bought these and ended Up on their blog;)
StreetGyaru – Miss M I Am
I ♥♥♥ To be… “not in my 20s” and still buy a crazy pink delicious wig!
If you feel the same, check out this site which is a pretty good price if you ask me and its fast AND when you get it you just smile, and when you try it on you just keep on smiling (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
I also love what you can do with makeup! This crazy/lovely work is done by MakeUpStore.
If you have it near where you live, give away or go and get yourself a makeuptreat. For about 60£ you get someone that shows you how to put on a party or “normal” makeup and for that money you also get to buy makeup for it all!!*\(^o^)/*
I just had a photoshoot for a magazine
and Im excited of the results（＾＿＾）☆
Last I dropped you of at Starbucks in Tsutaya at Shibuya!
After a frappuchino, looking out on Hachiko Crossing and the fashion madness, lets walk out on Senta-gai.
This, My fellow StreetGyaru’s, is just the worst place for your wallet. Shops after shops after small foodplaces after shops. Mixed together with departmentstores like Loft
, Forever 21, Uniqlo, OIOI.
And this is just a small bit of treets for you.
Strolling further, we will come to
Ah this great street where you also can eat and treat yourself to shoes, chlothes, accessories!! ♥
Out from Spain Hill you get up on a street with 3 PARCO shopping malls!
And yes, they are abit Posh but walking to the right, rounding the corner to the left PARCO has a nice museum you should look into!
After some shopping and StreetGyaru feeling, you need some other sights.
Out from PARCO just follow the street straight up and finally you will reach Yoyogi Park!
If you are in Shibuya, or Harajuku on a weekend, dont miss Yoyogi flea market that comes with different themes, Aisian market, India Market, French market and lots lots more! There is alot of foodstands when you feel your suger is dropping. Dont forget to bring something to sit on. You can buy that in every Conbini (convinientstore).
There is all types of guides where to go when you are in Japan, but why not listen to someone that is more like you, that has lived there twice and know her way around?
Let’s travel StreetGyaru wise
First of all: Tokyo has about 130 million people so NO there is not “one” city in this over-the-top-huge city!
In Tokyo you should try and book a hotel/motel/holiday in around the
JR Yamanote Line
This line is like a cirkel that takes you to a bunch of the very best sightseeing in Tokyo!
Buy a SUICA card for a better Japanese and StreetGyaru way which means you just follow the flow with people BUT you can use different ways of keeping your card at hands. Me, I have a Penguin from 6%DOKIDOKI
On the Yamanote Line you have:
Shibuya – walk up Hachiko Exit and you will step out to the bussiest intersektion in the world, which might feel overly crowded but if you cross the intersektion (and yes, pick up your camera and film/take photo of this “real” StreetGyaru Tokyo!
For the best view, take a latte at Starbucks on the second floor of Tsutaya
More StreetGyaru guidlines will come!
Its amazing how much you can manage to do in two weeks!
But as you can see in some bars downtown in Shibuya for instance where it says that they close at
There you have it, they have more hours in a day in the land of the rising sun!
I will give you some treats for now about what we did this very exciting trip! I really ♡ to meet My friends from all over the world again that lives there.
Both great places, really!
Then ofcourse, a visit to We Language School and seeing My dear teachers!
Then My dear followers, shopping!
Here you have everything your inner girl could ever want!
moohoop and SBY is something I really should recommend(^_−)−☆
Other than that! Harajuku ofcourse is a place I always visit and Spinns スピンス is a new favourit♡!
Here you have some pix and じゃあ また！
Im sorry Im writing this so late, but I need to tell you about my last weekend in Tokyo before reality and my trip back to Sweden takes ahold of me. The picture above is from my Sayonara party! I had it together with my darling friend Bameis birthday party.
A funny note; tanyoubi, which means birthday in japanse has a funny meaning, which ofcourse is congratulations for being born BUT also sayonara because you get departured from your mother. SO, this collaboration of Birthday party and Sayonara party went under the name TANYOUBI PARTY! ❤
then we ended up at HEARTLAND around 11pm
(which is a place for gaijins, that means loud drunk forigners that wants to score with Japanese girls)
then fast away to another bar I don´t remember the name of until 2.30am
and then to Shimokitazawa to a very small, gorgeous, wonderful little sidewalk izakaya where we hanged out until 5am and my first morning train went back home to Komazawa.
A SUGOI evening/night/morning with wonderful friends!
I slept 3 hours and then up and away to Shinjuku for photoshoot with NANA EMMA that studies fashion design, and I got to wear clothes from VIVIENNE WESTWOOD! Do you know the manga/anime NANA? I wear the same jacket as her! So awesome! (^ ^)
What a surreal day!
Then studygroup in Shimokita at my friend Sams place and then VIP-party at Roppongi Hills at Grand Hyatt.
Tokyo International Film Festival was this week and I was invited of my former workplace ShortShorts Film Festival
to celebrate this amazing animator and the Animations made out of his short stories and life,
I ❤ TOKYO!
Weekends in Tokyo! How can you not like them.
This Saturday and Sunday there was a SriLanka festival in Yoyogi park.
The same place where I went to that Brazilian one.
Alot of food stands, omiyage (souveniers), people and music!
On stage there was a performance of what I guess was a kind of famous man “singing” and all these bollywood dancers where entering the stage in beautiful dresses and dances and “sings” with him in these ballads. Why I do “this” is because Im not sure they are singing or just mime to the lyrics in the song (^¨^) Either way its fun watching! AND the food is oishii desu!
After the festival, because it ended at 7pm, I went to a potlock party my school arranged for all their students, Japanese as well as gaijins (foreigners). Everyone brings something to eat and you get alot of different stuff to nibble on during your mingle session, and you who knows me KNOWS that Im a proffessional mingler (‘-‘)
It was great, some new friends to hook up with and everything ended at 10.20pm. the night was still young so I hooked up with some friends at an Izakaya (bar) and after some drinks and alot of laughs we went to rock west, listening to one of my friends friend DJ:ing and its really a great place and the people Im with is so funny and we ended up dancing barefoot on the floor. I came back home around 04.00am and with a bright yet tired smile I crashed in my bed!
