What do you do when you can no longer find anything (or the things you want) in your closet?
You have a Closet Sale*\(^o^)/*
Make someone happy shopping from your amazing wardrobe.
This Sunday I had a Closet Sale at My place. I made an event on Facebook and had a showroom with all and everything I bought through the years and travels to Japan!
Happy shoppers and a happy me with more space to fill on My next trip to the land of My ♥
Try you to! Make someone smile^o^
So, its Saturday in Tokyo and we woke up at 14.00!
But its ok, because we got “home” to the hotel around 7pm this morning!
I will just tell you this!
Get yourself Japanese friends if you come here bcos you will find the best places ever that way!
Yesterday were Johan played as a guest DJ (together with 15 others) in Ikejiri-Ohashi (one stop from Shibuya on Den-en-toshi line) was the coolest place ever!*\(^o^)/*
A tiny door in the Wall, a steep stairway and in to a tiny room where no shoes were aloud!! And that place was packed with Japanese cool people!
AND Hatsune Miku were DJ’ing I kid you not!!;)
An amazing place you would have never found without contacts but the best place to party until 5pm!!
This day it was all about the SHOES!!
In Harajuku, you must go to that store!
I bought these and ended Up on their blog;)
The trip took all and all 14h and when you already have a jetlag from NYC where I were just one week before this trip and add 7h to that, I now have 14h jetlag(°_°)
No wonder I slept for 14h the first night^_−☆.
We have been here now for 3 days (and have 18 more to go*\(^o^)/*やった!
Some shops I think you shouldn’t miss while you are here in wonderland is;
(Got this earing there today!)
– Anna Sui (yes I know it might sound expensive but the ¥ is so good right now so I this year is the first time in 6 years since I first visited Tokyo that I could afford it!!!) pics will come.
– 6% DOKIDOKI♥
Yes I have a strange love for this store and brand but its just so sweet and crazy + you will meet Vani in person when you walk in the store and she is in alot of TokyoFashion snaps from Harajuku!!
I got alot from there but more pics come later(o^^o)
Now, Im going to eat some たこやき and sleep sweet dreams in the best city in the world♥
StreetGyaru – Miss M I Am
I ♥♥♥ To be… “not in my 20s” and still buy a crazy pink delicious wig!
If you feel the same, check out this site which is a pretty good price if you ask me and its fast AND when you get it you just smile, and when you try it on you just keep on smiling (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
I also love what you can do with makeup! This crazy/lovely work is done by MakeUpStore.
If you have it near where you live, give away or go and get yourself a makeuptreat. For about 60£ you get someone that shows you how to put on a party or “normal” makeup and for that money you also get to buy makeup for it all!!*\(^o^)/*
I just had a photoshoot for a magazine
and Im excited of the results（＾＿＾）☆
There is all types of guides where to go when you are in Japan, but why not listen to someone that is more like you, that has lived there twice and know her way around?
Let’s travel StreetGyaru wise
First of all: Tokyo has about 130 million people so NO there is not “one” city in this over-the-top-huge city!
In Tokyo you should try and book a hotel/motel/holiday in around the
JR Yamanote Line
This line is like a cirkel that takes you to a bunch of the very best sightseeing in Tokyo!
Buy a SUICA card for a better Japanese and StreetGyaru way which means you just follow the flow with people BUT you can use different ways of keeping your card at hands. Me, I have a Penguin from 6%DOKIDOKI
On the Yamanote Line you have:
Shibuya – walk up Hachiko Exit and you will step out to the bussiest intersektion in the world, which might feel overly crowded but if you cross the intersektion (and yes, pick up your camera and film/take photo of this “real” StreetGyaru Tokyo!
For the best view, take a latte at Starbucks on the second floor of Tsutaya
More StreetGyaru guidlines will come!
My outfit for today is all Japanese, well for be specifik, Tokyo StreetGyaru-style(^з^)-☆
My shoes, claypot with a lace bow, comes from ASBEE I just ♡ them!
Sock-of-the-day is this soda-pink stockings from Shibuya 109
Nails is black with soda-blue dots!
Just put on the black in some layers first, then dip some coloured nailpolish on it in a pattern you prefer. You are the artist so just do it the way you want, doesnt matter if its not all round shapes:)
When ever I leave My place, I put on My headphones (today its roxcore) and press play just as I step out in a new day!
Since Komazawa in Tokyo, I love Walking out to Easy Please Me with Katy B! Maybe because I can get the feeling of a brand new day in Tokyo, where smells, sounds and the feeling of excitememt grabs me!
Find your own Start and the day will look much better☆
My bag of the day is from Largo.
Black with delisch inside of blue velvet and a crazy pattern! Good sice to and best, good price;)
Now, My StreetGyaru style is done and redy to hit the street☆
So, finally, the day has come for me to get My curls, My blue and black, My hair♡
Since living in Tokyo, hair has a bigger impact on me! Strange right? Not like the girls, Gyarus, inspire you ever single day with Amazing hair-does.
I love the way they braid the extensions in your hair so it looks more naturally and doesnt really damage your own hair THAT much;)
Today Im doing it in Sweden.. Bcos here is where I am right now 😉 Will see what Sara at Studio Cri will do for me
So, this is me now…
Just Wait and see for the “after”-shot;)
Today its this look…
But tomorrow this outgrown-no-good-of-a-hair-doo will be no more!
I will start My first of two sessions at Hairstudio Cri
I really would LOVE to look like this:
But I will get darker to complete My Street Gyaru look so this is My inspiration instead:
Tomorrow I will cut and colour and next week extensions coming in(*^_^*）
Im soo excited! I ♥ doing My hair!
Todays shoes is My darling Tabi-Converse. Tabi its called because of the shape with the big toe seperated from the rest. Comfortable? Hell yes☆
I ♥ shoes!
These darlings I have found at a store in Linköping, Sweden called DNA
Today Im going to work abit before start because I need to try out My Music at our DJ-studio before all the students come and kick me out;)
Also, today, I will give My dj-students a special surprise＼(^o^)／ If you want to know what it is you better show up at
Skylten Livehouse in Linköping, Sweden at 18.00 today(^_-)
London ♡ oh My god!
I didnt know! So close to Sweden and with Ryan Air fairly cheap there is a city full of surprises(o^^o)
Dont get me wrong, Tokyo is My Love, but its nice to know somewhere close but yet soo nice:)
My cousine, bless him, lives at Bacon street JUST by Brick Lane!
This street is just amazing☆
Here is My travelguide for you that dont just want to see BigBen and so on:
1) Vintage Emporium
This might be the most genuine vintage café place in the world! A lovely couple owns this place which takes you back to the 20th century in old England.
The small café is crammed with furniture from amazing ages and they serve the best Yoghurt and müsli I have ever tasted as breakfast! They also have 3 dogs that comes in three sizes and blend right in♡
Donwnstaires in the basement they have a vintage shop. The most delightful place with rare items and gorgeous hats! I fell in love and bought myself a darling English vintage hat from the 40s. The owners are collectors so they have such love for each item!
2) Brick Lane
How can I have missed this street before? Here you have small vintage shops in all sizes together with foodcorners, street art everywhere and so many cool stylish people and their fashion. Upper half is all shopping and further down is lots of Indian restaurant!
On syndays this whole street becames a market!! Just lovely♡
3) Soho – Carnaby street
Well, while I have left My darling in the Vinyl district of Soho, I walk around and end up in paradise!
Carnaby street is like a shopping dream for me:) There is Make Up Store, Monki, Cheap Monday, MUJI & IRREGULARE!
These shoes My dear readers are not just shoes! They are artwork! I tried on every single pair they had (almost, poor staff) and finally I bought a pair that will match My new hat(*^_^*）
I will hit you with more tips later but now, work is calling!
