It is raining outside!
But even rain can be pretty with a beautiful umbrella🌂。
The designer of this vintage, Tokyo-white, doll inspired Umbrella is Lisbeth Dahl
It is like walking in to a dream of things(^_−)−☆
Today I wear all Makeupstore (which I always do), but today I will first be at My Office new-opening of their office, which I have an Office now as well 😉
After this I will attend Molly’s 1year old Birthdayparty♡ She is the daughter of one of My “Little Sisters”!
Today I also put on My very sweet friend Saori’s gift to me. A beautiful piece of earing♡
I hope you all have a great day in the rain where ever you are(#^.^#)
I will admit, I kind of thought we would miss the cherryblossom in Tokyo this time! But we didnt!
Spring is My fav month and the place to be, for me, is Tokyo!!
Not just because the weather is nice or that I love Tokyo in general, but if you have witness sakura さくら (cherryblossom) in its full bloom you just have to come back, no matter what!
AND everyone gets so happy and all over the parks people gather under the trees having おはなみparty!! (o^^o)
That means wieving cherryblossoms while having picnic under the trees!
Drinking, eating obentos (lunchboxes) and small snacks together is an everyday festive event with friends during a weeks period of time when the blossoms are in full bloom.
This time we went up to Nikko for a days trip.
Its just beautiful and so peaceful and you walk around in the woods, wathching the worlds heritage of shrines and temples from the Nara and Edo periode, all embedded in nature with redwood trees reaching to the sky surrounding them!
And the 2h trip up there, you can see …
Im in love with Japan!♡
Im sorry Im writing this so late, but I need to tell you about my last weekend in Tokyo before reality and my trip back to Sweden takes ahold of me. The picture above is from my Sayonara party! I had it together with my darling friend Bameis birthday party.
A funny note; tanyoubi, which means birthday in japanse has a funny meaning, which ofcourse is congratulations for being born BUT also sayonara because you get departured from your mother. SO, this collaboration of Birthday party and Sayonara party went under the name TANYOUBI PARTY! ❤
then we ended up at HEARTLAND around 11pm
(which is a place for gaijins, that means loud drunk forigners that wants to score with Japanese girls)
then fast away to another bar I don´t remember the name of until 2.30am
and then to Shimokitazawa to a very small, gorgeous, wonderful little sidewalk izakaya where we hanged out until 5am and my first morning train went back home to Komazawa.
A SUGOI evening/night/morning with wonderful friends!
I slept 3 hours and then up and away to Shinjuku for photoshoot with NANA EMMA that studies fashion design, and I got to wear clothes from VIVIENNE WESTWOOD! Do you know the manga/anime NANA? I wear the same jacket as her! So awesome! (^ ^)
What a surreal day!
Then studygroup in Shimokita at my friend Sams place and then VIP-party at Roppongi Hills at Grand Hyatt.
Tokyo International Film Festival was this week and I was invited of my former workplace ShortShorts Film Festival
to celebrate this amazing animator and the Animations made out of his short stories and life,
I ❤ TOKYO!
My sunday was so nice! Nishiyobi wa sugoi desu! Daisuki desu!
First, Daikanyama! A beautiful little district on Tokuyu Toyoko Line from Shibuya and its only one stop with the local train! Its such a beautiful place to walk around in with small shops and coffe places and restaurants!
I met my dear friend Eri there and we ate pasta at a cute little place.
After that we just walked around and I found this gorgeous store with
After that I went back to Komazawa (where I live) to meet up with my darling Bamei and we went to Meguro (2 stops from Shibuya) and met a friend of hers that invited us to have dinner with him at a restaurant with delicious food! My japanese got tested today though I had to speak more to bamei and her friend which english is good but not comes as naturel as japanese. After dinner we went to a place where we ended up at the 25th floor at this little room with the most fantastic view over tokyo tower
and after a while the room was filled with 30 guests that was invited to this privat concert of furusawa takeshi.
Its a friend of Bamei that sings and playes guitar and he has a big concert coming up in Harajuku in the end of September. He had a great voice and Im so happy that I could be a part of this event as the only european there 🙂
After this great event we went to Roppongi and sat at a bar to look at people and then we went back home after a gorgeous Sunday in Tokyo!
I just can´t tell you how much I loved this weeken, except from getting a toung infection so I had to take out my sweet piercing since 10 years back!
I have just studied my sweet behind of and litterally beat my self up for this test in school just to find out the test itself isnt that hard, so this weekend was really something I was looking forward to!
Friday, of with friends eating mexican food that was yummy! Then Harajuku where they had a sale of 83%.. have you ever experienced ANYTHING beeing 83% off? I hadnt so I just HAD to find this store, and so I did and I bought alot of stuff which I will sell to you back home in sweden (*^ ^*)
But if that day gave me a thrill, it was nothing compared to my saturday which took me back to Kamakura and finally the beach!
They said that this weekend is kind of the last summer-going to autumn one so If I wanted to be able to swim in the great pacific this was it!
For you that wants to take this trip (and you do) just start from:
Shibuya – Yokohama (Tokuyu Toyoko Line) around 20min
Yokohama – Kamakura (JR Yokosuka Line) aprox 30 min
The ticket for one way is about 650Yen.
When you hit kamakura, get a One day free ticket for 580Yen and you jump on to Enoden electric railway that is a really small local train that takes you to Fujisawa and between you can jump on and of this ride at all these stops which have the great Buddha (Hase), and alot of hidden temples and the train takes you just along the shore and beach that goes all the way to Enoshima where you can see alot of surfers (yummy) and also walk over the bridge to Enoshima Island which is a paradise on earth! There you can walk on old staircases carved out in rocks all the way up to the top of the island that has a park and a watch tower. If you feel abit tired, just pay a small fee and take escalaters all the way up, but I suggest you walk bcos then and only then you really can see the magnificant view and all the neko (cats) that lay around everywhere looking all cute and relaxed in the sun!
And to swim in the waves of the pacific ocean..I can almost feel tears burning just talking about it! The view and the beach and the people! Ureshii! (so happy!) ❤
This is a days trip everyone should do visiting Tokyo for more than a week!
I had the chanse to try out my japanese bikini to which made me so frickin HOT ❤ (*^-^*)/ but now its all sandy AND because I choose a part of the beach which has blck sand (kawaii) I have black sand all over and in it now that wont come out. But hey, who cares right! Im living a tokyo-white life here and pimped my keitai all tokyo-white with things bought in Kamakura!
Hi my wonderful new followers (and older ones ofcourse)!
I got myself an infection in my tonge and had to seperat myself from my piercing which Ive had since 10 years back! I know it may seem stupid to cry over this but its been there through some very important times in my life and now I feel an emptyness I havnt for a long time!
But to fulfill that emptyness I listen to music and I have some great swedish bands I want to support and if you could help me find these guys some gigs I would be more than happy!
Preferebly in Japan but otherwise is fine to! Would just be sweet to help them get their music out there.
I cant hold it in anymore!
Its eating me from inside, this overwhelming, restless feeling that just want to be unleashed!
I wasnt strong enough and today I let my gard down and let me be sucked in to its sparkeling shimmer. Im talking of the shop-o-holic!
You may laugh at this but that just proved that you never have been under its spell!
You may love shopping but a shop-o-holic just gets sucked in to the endorfine that arouse when you have bought something new!
The first time I let it out was 4 years ago my first time in Tokyo and I have been really good for almost 5 weeks but today I couldnt! There is just to many kawaii things!!!
I just HAD to have those earrings.. just look at them! Kirei ne!
And a white top is always good to have, and a striped one and one with these cute little bows on it! And a okii (big) wallet is just a must ans ofcourse Anna Sui stockings!
The clothes are from ANAP and they were on SALE just for your information! (Oh who am I kidding..)
Do I even need to tell you that all this was kaidesu (bought) in Shibuya ❤
AND today after a very intense day in school I met Mai-san! My exchange partner from We.
We ate donburi at yosuya (ricebowls with topping…oishii.. delicious and only 35 SEK =400Yen)
Now Im back and I have cleaned my room and now I will eat, be ridiciously happy of my new things and watch a movie! (^_^)
This time in Tokyo I will not get as crazy as I use to!
I know, why not. Where in the entire world would you want to go totally bananas if not in t-town! The very mother of crazyness in a fashion-kind of way! So I thought “Nah, ***k it ” and will totally go bananas again! Who says age has something to do with anything (except me in my sweet little head of mine every day). WELL, even if I will twist and turn over every penny… or yen.. I go to get these crazy stuff Im thinking I should try something! And something in Tokyo 2011 is white.
You know, white for me has never really been an option really when going out shopping. Ive had a black period for ages during end just after highschool and colourful periods where I just walk around dipped in every colour of the rainbow feeling bubbely and cheerful about life!
But this time, this time in life! Just befor I hit a certain age I want to try white! Especially here in the best city in the world where white is not just white! Its soft, creamy, dusty, twinkely, jummy, shiny, crazy, romantic, cool yet sweet at the same time! I LOVE WHITE!
Soo, today Im showing of some items I bought in this theme!
Even the sock of the day is in this beautiful colour and its really Tokyo-white!
And after class today I went to this very elegant, thats another word for explaining white here, café with white couches, white linnen and sparkeling white chandeliere and I felt like beeing in a magazine! I could only wish that someone took a snapshot of me then and there to put up at a website so others could understand the greatness of Tokyo-white;)
Tomorrow I have a day off so we will see what new wonders of white I will find then!
